During their impressive run at The Yonex All England Open 2020 – the world’s oldest badminton tournament and considered to be one of the most prestigious tournaments globally, Marcus Ellis and mixed partner Lauren Smith reached the semi-finals of the event, losing out in close fought match.
The Yonex All England celebrated its 110th Anniversary at the Arena Birmingham this year. Yonex provided sponsored players with a special 110th Anniversary Kit to wear on court. Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith have donated the t-shirt they wore in both the semi-finals of the The Yonex All England Open 2020 and in the The Legends' Vision Event that took place during the competition, to raise money for charity. This auction is for two shirts (one worn by Marcus and the other by Lauren).

Terms & Conditions
An auction can be defined as “the public sale of a property to the highest bidder.”
The bidder who offers the highest price or bid will be the successful purchaser. Any queries relating to the item must be submitted prior to any bid being placed and a response being received.
All bids placed deem the bidder to have understood and comply with all Terms and Conditions listed.
A binding contract is created by the auction. The highest bidder will enter in to contract with TRME Sports Ltd once they are deemed to be the successful purchaser and will be required to make payment within 1 hr of the auction completing.
All funds must be paid in GBP. All charges (postage and packaging are included in the final bidding price). All items will be shipped via a full trackable postage service to a verified address only.
Failure for the winning bidder to make payment will result in breach of contract and legal action will be sought and the auction will be re-run.
Should a reserve price be set and the final bid does not reach the reserve price, the item will remain unsold.
The owner of the item has the right to control the sale until its conclusion. The legal definition of an auction is a public sale of property to the highest bidder. The underlying purpose of an auction sale is to obtain the best financial returns for the owner of the property and to allow free and fair competition among bidders.
Competitive bidding is an essential element of an auction sale. Any agreement that restricts such competition is against policy and will deem the auction void. Indeed, collusion to coordinate bids between sellers defeats the validity of the auction, this may also account to be fraud or even criminal in nature. In such circumstances all details will be forwarded to the relevant authorities.
No returns are permitted and no refunds will be issued.
The auction joining fee is required so all bidders can be verified. The joining fee is non-refundable and in all charity auctions the full joining fee will be donated to the nominated Charities.
